This one-day instructor led course is designed to give an introduction to the different aspects of Access including basic design principles and effective use of an existing database. By the end of the course delegates will be able to enter and edit data, extract data, and to design a new Access database table.
Course Objectives
- Understand database terminology
- Enter, edit and format data
- Create a new database table
- Design a new query to extract specified data
- Create and edit a database form for data entry and manipulation
- Create and edit simple reports to print out data
Pre-requisites
We recommend that all those who attend are able to:
- Use the mouse to select and open menus and icons
- Identify and use the Shift, Ctrl, TAB and Home keys on the keyboard
